30 Days of Photo – Day 18: Tough Choice – The Chronicles of Narnia vs. A Song of Ice and Fire.

I often took more than one photo a day. And when I do not like a setup, I sometimes reject it and do something totally different.

Today, for the first time, I could not decide which one I liked better. So you shall have both (Inside the posting).

AUDIO-AUTUMN!

Now that the Flora and Fauna September is over (and I enjoyed it immensely) I decided on what to next. I had the idea simultaenously with the enchanting Yseult, so it must be a good one. :)

The new project’s name is Audio Autmn. We had writing, we had pictures, and now we will have music.

But there will be more.

I’ll give you a song each day (or every other day, but more or less regularly), complete with youtube or other link for you to listen to. And I will give you the story behind the song. You know that I am a music addict and have a very ecclectic taste, and that music means a lot to me. Prepare for some very personal stories, and for some interesting music from the middle ages to this day.

word: courageous
form: Epic ballad in iambic pentameter

Fifteen they were, a gang from stories old,
The maidens fair, soft spoken, sharp and bright,
The men were daring, dashing, it is told.

Their souls, they say, were deep and dark as night.
So they set out on this stupendous quest,
Their minds were humming with utmost delight.

And so they went, the fifteen, blithe and blessed,
To do what they were meant to do, and do it right.
To dare what none had dared before, at the behest

Of Flaming Molly, Queen of Pen and Light.
For thirty days, the challenge was quite clear:
“Now go ahead, and take a word – and WRITE!”

And that they did, and now we want to hear
Their stories all. And please – give them a cheer.
