No, not that sappy novel. Me.
We’ll be leaving for vacations on sunday. We’re going up north (where else) to the lovely island of Foehr? on the North Sea. I love the North Sea.
So to guide you through the dark days without me, I’ll leave you to ponder
Frodo’s Encouraging Song
“O! Wanderers in the shadowed land
despair not! For though dark they stand,
all woods there be must end at last,
and see the open sun go past:
the setting sun, the rising sun,
the day’s end, or the day begun.
For east or west all woods must fail…”
Have a great time, folks. I’ll try and do the same.
No kidding. The things we do for Worth.

I joined a contest in which we painted with our feet.

And it was oddly freeing. Being told my whole life that I cannot draw, I really believed it (still do up to this point), but using my feet, it suddenly didn’t matter anymore. It was huge fun. I was giggling and squeaking with delight the whole time while I drew.
Cleaning the feet afterswards was a problem, tho. Especially because I had no way to get from the bedroom (where I painted) to the bathroom (where the water was) without smearing acrylic paint all over the wooden floors.

And here is the end result, “Nightsky Sea”.

You should really have a look at the finished contest at Worth, the other pics, especially the winning picture, are really amazing.
And a brave man told it. It had to be done.
Definitely.
